This week the new X-Files movie opens but it seems to lack the same hype the Sex and the City movie generated - I'm not sure why. I was an X-Phile but it sure seems like a long time ago now and I didn't stay for the closing act. The series seemed to wither towards the end, unlike Sex and the City or Seinfeld which both ended on a high note. I'd like to believe, really I would - but considering the reviews I'll leave the X-Files for video. Batman is supposed to have better special effects and cinematography that suit the expense of actually going to the movie theatre.
