Well, this marks the first time I've posted about The Britney. All through her struggles with Mental Illness rumours, her divorce procedings from "Fed-ex" (I love that knickname by the way) and her legal custody battles I've avoided jumping on the bandwagon and posting some trash about Britney Spears. Personally I'm rooting for her. I think many of us have had some hard partying days - maybe just drinking for the older folks among us but experimenting with drugs is nothing unusual for the younger generations. Sometimes people get in a little over their heads before they realize it and with the media spotlight on you - all those crazy times that we got away with - well, Britney didn't get away with anything. It's an adjustment to celebrity stardom and it's an adjustment to parenthood. Maybe parents have forgotten how clueless they were at first, or maybe the people taking advantage of her celebrity status to gain viewers and sell magazines - aren't even parents at all. Anyways, Brit seems to be getting back on her feet.

Britney Spears is scheduled to guest star on How I Met Your Mother as Abby for the second time on May 12. Her first appearance was in March which seemed to be well received and produced the shows highest ratings thus far. Britney was also granted more time with her two sons, Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline, during visitation. Reports also indicate that Britney is spending more time with family including pregnant sister Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney attended Jamie Lynn's baby shower last Saturday.

This is a great picture of Britney Spears. I hope people give her some space and some support instead of ripping her apart in the name of ratings.

Blonde babe Scarlett Johansson has been a popular topic this week after her recent engagement to Ryan Reynolds.

Scarlett Johansson is one of the world's sexiest celebrities having appeared on the cover of the March 2006 issue of Vanity Fair in the nude with Keira Knightley and topping FHM's poll of the sexiest women alive (in the UK edition Johansson was third). In 2007, Maxim named Johansson #3 in their Hot 100 issue. In November 2006, Johansson was named "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire. And in February 2007, Playboy magazine named Scarlett Johansson the "Sexiest Celebrity".

Is Paula Abdul drunk or into the pills? I don't know but she just totally messed up live on American Idol. During a quick review of the performers first song of the night Paula Abdul read off her notes and critiqued both of Jason Castro's songs which should have been impossible since he hadn't sung the second song yet. Sooo.. either Paula Abdul is smoking crack or she can see into the future... or the American Idol performances were taped earlier and we were made to believe that the whole show is live. I don't know but Ryan Seacrest kept emphasizing that American Idol was back "Live". Seems suspicious to me.

Katharine McPhee will make her studio acting debut as a pregnant hippie in a comedy titled The House Bunny (formerly known as I Know What Boys Like) starring Anna Faris and directed by Fred Wolf for Columbia Pictures and Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions. The film co-stars Rumer Willis, Emma Stone and Colin Hanks. Katherine McPhee was just ranked #38 on FHM magazine's annual Sexiest Woman in the World poll.

Bad Girl Amy Winehouse Cautioned by Police for Assault

Amy Winehouse wasn't charged but she received an official caution by Police which will remain on her record. The incident reportedly happened in a London bar where Amy Winehouse is said to have struck a man that got in her way while she was playing pool.

Amy Winehouse's battles with substance abuse and erratic behaviour has been the subject of much media attention. In various interviews, she has admitted to having problems with self-harm, depression and eating disorders. The British tabloid The Sun posted a video of a woman, alleged to be Winehouse, apparently smoking crack cocaine and speaking of having taken ecstasy and valium. In late January 2008, Amy Winehouse entered a rehabilitation facility for a two week treatment program.

Meagan Good Set to Star in Saw V

Actress Meagan Good has reportedly been added to the cast of Saw V. In 2007, Meagan Good began production on the Mike Meyer's film, The Love Guru, and is set to star in and produce her second film, Sundays in Fort Greene. In 2008 Meagan Good appeared in the horror film One Missed Call.
